Joan Malara moved to Richmond, VA from Danbury, CT three years ago along with her sister who had a job transfer. She began volunteering with Richmond Habitat in our office, assisting with data entry. At that time, there was a huge amount of backlogged volunteer information to be entered, and with Joan’s help, the work time was cut in half. We knew right then we had better hold on to Joan! |

After breaking ground on the newest section of Bel Green Villas at Brickshire, builder Joe Hill of Bel Arbor Builders and Village Builders has begun a new sales campaign. That campaign is based upon the community’s low maintenance feature and the builder’s offering $10,000 for an old but functioning lawn mower. After a homeowner closes on a new Bel Green home, the lawn mower will be donated to Richmond Metro Habitat for Humanity |
