Need Free Help With Home Repairs?

If your home needs critical repairs and the cost feels out of reach, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity’s Home Repair Program may be able to help. The program supports eligible homeowners with essential health, safety, and accessibility repairs so they can continue living safely in the homes they own. Repairs are provided at no cost to the homeowner and completed in partnership with each locality using Community Development Block Grant funding.

The types of repairs are dependent on the locality you live in, but may include:

  • Roof repairs or replacement

  • Electrical and plumbing repairs

  • Window replacement

  • Accessibility modifications like ramps and grab bars
