Faith Commitment & Participation
Richmond Habitat is grateful to our Faith Partners for joining us in our journey of providing housing and enabling our mission to succeed. We welcome any commitments you would like to make that would outline your steps to cooperate with us to build homes, communities and hope together.
A Faith Partner contributes in ANY way to support the mission of RMHFH – through all volunteer efforts (construction, lunches, ReStore, Welcome Home basket and/or landscaping, etc.) as well as giving.

The Amazing Praise
This year, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity will participate in The Amazing Praise, a collaborative, online giving celebration of the transformative work being done by faith-based organizations across RVA. Celebrating its 10th year, this 48-hour donation event begins at noon on Tuesday, September 15th.
During that time visit TheAmazingPraise.org to:
- Donate to all participating nonprofits at once ("Give to All")
- Support individual organizations (Give to Richmond Habitat)
- Explore each ministry's mission and impact
We have a goal of $40,000 to celebrate our 40th Anniversary!
All participating organizations are IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Donations generate a tax receipt.
Join our Faith Council
A Faith Council has now formed and meeting regularly. This council plays an important role in planning Habitat initiatives that involve faith communities, including activities around the Unity Build. As Richmond Habitat grows, we need more faith partners engaged in volunteer efforts, committed to advocating for housing issues, dedicated to prayer support, and pledged to financial sponsorship.
