Betty Wilkinson’s Legacy Gift
Through the avenue of planned giving, you can leave a legacy that has a direct impact on the future of our community that will have positive impacts far beyond your lifetime. Mrs. Betty Wilkinson did just that. This is her story:
In our 30th year, Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity received the largest gift from an individual donor in the history of the organization.
In Betty Wilkinson’s Trust, she left a generous contribution that helped us achieve some of our long-term goals. A few of the many things we were able to achieve through this gift include the opening of a second ReStore location, establishing a reserve fund and, most importantly, enabling Richmond Habitat to provide even more safe and affordable homeownership opportunities to families in the Greater Richmond area.
