It’s time for our second blog for the ReStore Upcycle Blog Series! This time we are introducing the AMAZING Taya (.taya) Jarman of Teal Painted Door. .taya is a communications director by day but a lifestyle brand creator and organizer by night. With over a decade of experience, she gravitates towards different design styles: preppy, traditional, and contemporary.
In her previous home (which featured a teal-painted door), she renovated her space using ReStore products for decorating, painting, and furnishing her home. Check out some of the brilliant and stylish ways she used her ReStore purchases below!
These three teal chairs, the navy blue armless chair, and the polka dot chair are all from the ReStore. They each complement each room perfectly. Another amazing find that .taya got were these foldable wicker baskets! She loved these baskets as they are great storage and decoration for the house! She said that they are $17 a piece at Target, but at the ReStore, these nice new baskets were just $3 a piece! Great save!
When it comes to completing furniture renovation, she is always looking at the “bones” of the ReStore pieces – evaluating whether the structure of the finds will fit and look good in its final destination. If you are also interested in adding some stylish and, most importantly, affordable interest to your living space, she has a great tip for you – be on the lookout often! The ReStore products change all the time, if you miss a day, you miss a deal! So stay focused and keep looking, there is always something good popping up!
