Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity offers home repair services so homeowners can continue to live safely in their homes for years to come. Our program is available to homeowners who own and occupy their homes in the City of Richmond, Chesterfield County, and Henrico County.

Types of Repairs
Habitat’s Home Repair Program serves a crucial purpose: to tackle vital health and safety issues within our clients’ homes. Qualified homeowners can receive a range of interior and exterior repairs. These include critical repairs like roof repairs*, electrical system upgrades, plumbing replacements, window replacements, and accessibility modifications such as ramps, grab bars, and kitchen and bath adjustments.
*Henrico County Residents: Currently, we are accepting applications for active roof leaks only. -
Qualifications
• Own and live in your home
• Have homeowners insurance
• Not be at risk for foreclosure
• Other locality-specific requirements (ex., utilities are current)
• Completed application with all supporting documentation
• Must not exceed maximum household income based on household size (see chart) -
