Events

We are excited to invite faith communities to our Unity Celebration Weekend, running October 24-26, with various opportunities for all ages to engage in meaningful service and make a tangible difference in our community. Your involvement, however big or small, can significantly impact the lives of those in need.

Below are the specific dates and ways you can get involved!

Participate in Construction:
Pick either Friday, Saturday or Sunday - 8:00am to 3:00pm each day. Join us on a build site and help construct homes. No prior construction experience is necessary. Groups of 4-5 will share each site to enhance interfaith cooperation. (Adults 18+, Ages 16/17 with parent)

Volunteer at a ReStore:
Pick Friday or Saturday with a choice of two shifts - 10am-2pm OR 1pm to 5pm. Volunteering here helps support our mission. We could use help sorting donations, arranging inventory, assisting customers or working in our warehouse. (Adults 18+)

Bring Lunch to a Group:
Is there a group in your community that could provide meals for our dedicated volunteers working on build sites?

Purchase, Construct, and Deliver a Picnic Table:
Build on Saturday from 9:00am to 11:30am OR 1:00pm to 3:30 pm. This unique opportunity allows your group to provide a tangible item that will enhance a family's home and outdoor living space. Table kits are around $130 and must be delivered by your group. (Adults 18+, Ages 12-17 with parent)

Purchase Items for Volunteer Bags:
Saturday, 9:00am to 11:30am. Help us create ‘thank you’ bags for our volunteers by decorating bags and donating essential items such as water bottles and snacks. We provide bags and markers. (Adults 18+, Ages 6-17 with parent)
