Providing Affordable Homes on the Open Market
At Richmond Habitat, we know how challenging it can be to find an affordable home in our community. To help, we build and offer reasonably priced homes to families and individuals who qualify for their own mortgage, and fit certain income qualifications (currently 80% of the Area Median Income or less).
We acquire existing properties in the greater Richmond region and often work in partnerships, like with the Maggie Walker Community Land Trust, to sell these homes and ensure they remain affordable for years to come.
