Today, many people unable to afford homeownership are the very individuals who keep our communities running every day.
Essential workers like teachers, nurses, emergency responders, counselors, food industry workers, technicians and tradespeople sometimes earn too much to qualify for traditional assistance, yet too little to purchase a home.
Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity exists for this very gap, helping individuals and families who work in our communities build and buy homes. Our goal is to help keep the dream of homeownership in reach for our neighbors in Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield.
